He will be responsible for the overall planning of college students' daily activities, the improvement of students' background and competition, as well as the management of students' daily life, the management of head teachers and the work of the student affairs office. 



Why can't you ask questions? 

An outstanding mathematical olympian seeks help from Mr. Peng, looking for transformation of scientific research ideas. Mr. Peng tried to inspire him: can you try to ask a scientific question? The olympian said: give me any question, I am confident that I can answer, but it is hard if you let me put forward a question. 


From this case, Mr. Peng summed up two kinds of thinking patterns: the first one, with the existing conditions, could answer any questions. They had been “mass produced” in the test-taking system, even they are indeed smart and win gold MEDALS in the international Olympic Games. They are problem solvers, but aren’t able to raise questions. 


In scientific research, we might need the second kind of people more, who thinking more and can open their horizons. They find out the problems, and then looking for knowledge from the problem so that can solve efficiently. Mr.Peng tried to change the way of thinking to inspire students, such as inspire them from widely read to find more knowledge? 



'Self-growth' of Young scholars 

According to Mr.Peng, human creativity can not cultivated. What needs to be cultivated is the ability to transform creativity from inspiration to inner drive, from reverie to reality. It's a journey from 'I'm interested and I want to do something' to being able to read professional books and discuss professional issues. In this process, the person doing the work must be trouble-free, patient and able to coordinate all aspects of the relationship. 




  1. Can an ordinary question be translated into a good question? 

For learners of any age, learning is a process of breaking boundaries. Even a primary school student can always find more advanced tools and even solve problems with advanced mathematics in a project. To the student's question, Mr.Peng does not give the restriction, only gives the default premise: any question you got that unable to solve from knowledge you learned, must extend outward. For example, when you study the economic issues, you can't rely on high school political textbooks, but to read academic works. It takes a lot of reading to turn everyday problems into scientific ones -- can someone who claims to be a lover of political economy use language that goes beyond the standard 'taxi random chat'? 


He had a school event called 'fire dragons, knights and princesses.' The name may look like 'weird', but it’s a chance to open up research ideas: fire dragons may seem fantastic, but if guide the students to read, they can turn inspiration into a scientific problem.

Solve the confusion of scientific research, enlighten the light of wisdom 

March of this year, Mr. Peng gave a speech on 'how to cultivate students’s scientific and technological innovation ability in club activities' at the  Sendelta forum. As the director of the academy innovation center, he will be the representation of science and innovation of Sendelta, and light up the path of college students with the light of scientific research.
